WHAT TO EXPECT

We're glad you are checking out our church. We hope you feel welcome to worship with us any time. The steps below will help you know what to expect when you visit us on a weekend.

1. CHOOSE A WORSHIP SERVICE
Services are held both on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. While every service has the same sermon, Valley offers two types of worship service styles:
Contemporary — worship band plays choruses
Blended — a mix of choruses and hymns led by the piano

It is best to arrive 15 minutes early, especially if dropping off children to classrooms.

2. GET DIRECTIONS
A map and directions are available through Mapquest. Just put in your locations.

3. ARRIVE & PARK
Don't hesitate to ask for help from our parking team (the ones directing traffic). They'll help you navigate the lots, which get crowded before the 9:30 a.m. service. Arriving 15 minutes before the service starts will make things easier. Overflow parking is available at the Senior Center across the street.

4. DROP OFF CHILDREN
> Saturday, 5 p.m. & Sunday, 8 a.m. — Childcare available for infants - Kindergarten
> Saturday evening only — children 4 years old - Grade 2 are dismissed during the service to attend Kids' Worship
> Sunday, 9:30 a.m. & 11 a.m. — Drop children off in our Children's Ministry (birth - Grade  5) or Student Ministry (middle and high school) areas before the service. Get directions at the Connect Desk in the lobby.
> If you would like for your family to attend worship together, you can drop your kids off and  visit one of our adult classes.

5. ATTEND WORSHIP SERVICE
The entrance to the sanctuary is off of the foyer as you enter from the parking lot. Ushers will welcome you into the sanctuary and give you a bulletin outlining the service. Ushers can help you find a seat.

Toward the beginning of the service, everyone is invited to stand and greet one another with handshakes. You will not be singled out as a visitor.  Biblical teaching, both contemporary and blended musical styles, prayer, giving and a monthly communion service are key components of worship at Valley.

6. LET US HELP YOU
>  On Sunday mornings, join us for coffee or tea in the Fellowship Hall between services to learn more about the church and how to get connected. If you are attending our Saturday service, you are invited to join us for a family dinner in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
> Stop by the Connect Desk just outside the sanctuary to learn more about programs/classes.
> If you have a personal concern or prayer need, members of our Prayer Team will be available after the service at the front of the sanctuary.
> Your filling out our Connect tear-off in the Worship Folder will allow us to be able to contact you about any questions or needs you may have.
