We are here to encourage you to find and follow Jesus through the transitions, challenges and sorrows of life. The programs below address specific life challenges, but you can also find help through our programs for Children, Students, Young Adults and Adults.

> One-on-one help from pastors and counselors
If you know something is wrong, but you're not sure where to start, Pastor Johnson will provide Christian counseling and spiritual guidance with adults and couples for a maximum of 2 times at no charge. For issues requiring longer term counseling, or for child or adolescent counseling, Pastor Johnson will make a referral to the appropriate counselor. Contact Lynne Gucwa.
> One-to-One Lay Care
The Stephen Ministry provides Christian care to those experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances. Through a confidential, one-on-one, caring relationship with a Stephen Minister, someone experiencing challenging times can receive the love, care and support that they need. Please consider allowing a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey back to wholeness. Contact Pastor Steve Johnson.
> Financial Assistance
The Deacon fund provides help for Valley members and attendees experiencing a temporary financial need. The application procedure begins with a call to Lynne Gucwa and includes writing a letter to the Deacon Fund detailing the financial need.
> Growth and Recovery
Support groups for addictions, grief, divorce, cancer and mental illness. If you or someone you know could benefit from a Christian-based support group, call
> After You Adopt
A monthly support group for parents. Guest speakers and special topics are discussed for both domestic and international families of adoption. Contact
> Hospital and Home Visits
Requests for hospital, nursing home or home visitation should be directed to Pastor Steve Johnson. If Pastor Johnson is not available, direct the request to Lynne Gucwa.
> Home Repair
The Deacons (with Men's Ministry) provide assistance to elderly, widows, single-moms, etc., for minor help around the house (i.e. hang pictures, rake leaves, etc.). For more information, call Lynne Gucwa.
